This fall, on November 2nd, the Holy Doggy: Halloween Edition festival will be held at Xpark—a key event dedicated to promoting canine therapy, fostering a pet-friendly culture, and supporting animal shelters. Organized by Holy Sweets event agency, ICRC “Base 4.5.0,” and the German premium pet food manufacturer Josera, each Holy Doggy festival features a unique theme. This time, mixed-breed dogs will be the stars of the event, and they will be admitted for free. Special guests will share touching adoption stories, experts will discuss the diverse advantages of mixed-breed dogs, and encourage future pet owners to adopt from shelters.
The educational segment will highlight canine therapy as an effective method of providing psycho-emotional support, particularly for individuals affected by mental health disorders, including soldiers, their families, internally displaced persons, former prisoners of war, and those stressed by conflict. This form of animal-assisted therapy is accessible to all Ukrainians and can enhance therapy outcomes when conventional methods fall short.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about modern dog professions and their invaluable contributions to society. Experts from Zoolux veterinary clinic will offer lectures on dog care, toxicology, and debunk common myths—essential knowledge for unforeseen circumstances that could save your pet’s life.
Celebrating Halloween, the festival will feature a costume contest, a beloved tradition among Holy Doggy’s regular attendees. Other entertaining activities include sports competitions, prize draws, charity lotteries, photo zones with professional photographers, and a market of unique dog products.
Holy Doggy: Halloween Edition is not just a celebration for dogs and their owners but also a significant event aimed at supporting shelter animals, promoting canine therapy, and developing a pet-friendly culture. Join us on November 2nd at Xpark to support this great initiative and enjoy the company of the best four-legged friends!
